How Do I Get to SMBC
What can I expect on my first visit?
Most adults attend one worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring congregational music and ensembles. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Marshall. This service is a little over one hour in length.
Also, at 9:30 am, there is an Adult Bible Class. This class meets in the main auditorium and is followed by a wonderful time of personal connection with some coffee and donuts.
Where do I take my children?
Beginning with excellent nurseries, there is something special for children of all ages. At every service, there are safe, clean, and highly-staffed nurseries for children three years old and under.
For children four years old through sixth grade, there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.
What about my teens?
At 9:30 am, Junior High and High School meet in the main auditorium for age-appropriate class, and at 10:30 am, they may attend the worship service with their families.
Am I expected to participate in the offering?
How should I dress?
There is no dress code at Shadow Mountain Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and much of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at SMBC.
