December 25, 2011 AM The Joy of Christmas
The New Year is full of commitments, resolutions, and good intentions. Sadly, those eager desires to “do things different” seem to fade with the routine tasks of everyday life. Someone once said, “We will open a book. Its pages are blank. The book is called Opportunity, and its first chapter is ‘New Year’s Day’.” What have you done this New Year with your opportunity for a fresh start?
Have you ever thought to yourself, “There’s got to be more to life than this”? Each one of us has. Unfortunately, some assume that a fulfilling life will be obtained through the next enticing person, place, or thing. Yet, time and time again, those have all come up short. They fail us.
The truth is that you were made by God and for His purpose! And regardless of how many things have failed you or how many times you have let yourself down, there is a real God Who promises to never fail you! He desires to give you a fresh start like none other.
Join us on Sunday, January 8th, as Pastor Haynes shares a special message on starting the year off right. Each family in attendance will receive a special gift.
